Fix Your Moving Fridge Items
After who knows how many trips with things clanking around in my fridge while driving my motorhome I finally found a embarrassingly simple tool to remedy what ails me. Its the Camco 44073 RV Double Refrigerator Bar. Look at the image above, does that look like something that could solve a problem? All it does is put pressure on each side of the fridge walls and once you set it in place it will hold back your items from "shifting during flight" if you catch my drift. Very simple yet useful tool. I highly recommend it unless you have one of those fancy new ice boxes designed to handle that already. Happy Travels.

RV and Camping Checklist
RV Checklist
I was looking for a checklist I could use before I left on my trips and came across a great one that I thought others could enjoy. The website is called Homeowners Trades and Resources Center and the link to download the excel spreadsheet for the list is Here. It was the single best tool I could find and best yet is that you can edit it the excel document and make it your own. Happy RV'ing everyone.

How to Buy a RV? Try this RV Buying Guide on for Size
How to Buy a RV? Try this RV Buying Guide on for Size
I thought I would share an experience. I recently decided to help a friend with the paramount task his first RV purchase. After buying a RV myself a few years back I thought it should be an easy task explaining the ins and outs of buying a RV. Boy was I wrong. Turns out there are very few if any RV buyers guides out there that are not riddled with sales pitches or very light in information or incredibly segmented. In some cases they just aren't RV buyer guides at all. During my RV buyers guide search I came across hundreds of outdated sites, hard to follow forum conversations, offers to buy books, and my personal favorite: biased sites promoting a certain rv purchase decision. I wanted to get my friend a resource that he could look over and lean on for the "formal" rv information and then I thought I could help with the more subjective part of his rv purchase. Sad to say very few of these mythical websites exists. Its almost all advertisements from RV trader, general RV, camping world and other sellers of RV's. Could this be? No How to Buy a RV guide to support the new RV'ers or someone who hasn't been involved in a purchase in a while. Incredible. After hours and hours of searching I came across an incredible discovery. I turned to my old standby Doityourselfrv.com to see if they had anything to show my friend for help with his RV purchase. I found that they not only had a majority of what I was trying to find but a guide just for RV buying. Its a RV Guide for How to Buy a RV unlike anything else I could find. It has the types of motorhomes, trailers, and campers. It shows what to think about when deciding, how to decide how much to spend, whether to buy new or used, places to shop for RV's, and other ideas to consider when buying a RV. After I got this article over to my friend he was pleasantly surprised and the next time we talked he was rattling off terms and had an understanding of RV's that he didn't have 24 hours earlier. I am very please to have found this resource and if you have friends in the market for a RV purchase you may want to point them in this direction, http://www.doityourselfrv.com. Be well.
